Yeah? Well the democrats have paid a fortune to convince you that your
profits belong to THEM! I don't subscribe to either theory. I just ignore
this government and mind my own business. I could not care less who the damn
president is, nor which congressman did what to which other congressman.
They can all go to hell and the sooner the better.

Bitter!! Bitter!!!=:) It's no secret!! It takes enough money to be
able to buy the presidency. Both parties rely on capitalists to
provide it. Of late, more people are being brought into the fold,
just like those church people who put small amounts into baskets, the
masses are putting money into the campaigns. Avarice 'n' greed are
the tenants of the Republican party. It is the party of big
business. Hopefullly, the little guy will better be able to exercise
his/her voice by fighting for his/her own interests rather than for
those who would enslave them.
BTW, this is the first time I've seen the quote. "There's a sucker
born every minute", attributed to WC Fields!!-:)
Most people know that David Hannum was the person that originally coined the phrase, although it was attributed to PT Barnum, but Al G. Fields, for whom my Grandfather was the star vaudville performer, said it almost incessantly and his brother (or nephew depending upon who you believe) WC Fields picked it up and according to some just about finished his every sentence with it. And, as WC Fields made his fortune off of suckers, I choose to attribute it to him in that context.
