Hmmm, Muslims working in a Kosher meatpacking plant. One can only
wonder how that will work.

Well, there won;t be a problem with the Muslims being asked to process
pork:) Aren't Kosher dietary laws and Muslim dietary laws similar
in many respects?

On a totally different topic, Islander, I wanted to refer you to the
NY Times which has published the exams Barack Obama wrote and gave to
his law school students when he taught at the University of Chicago.
He taught there for many years part-time and was offered a tenured
professorship which he turned down to do politics full-time.

The subject matter he taught was constitutional law.


The article includes assessments of his questions by several
distinguished law professors, including one who clerked for Clarence
Thomas on the Supreme Court. In other words, an ideologically mixed
group.

Although I can follow the legal arguments only so far, it is apparent
that Obama is a very nuanced and balanced thinker with superb mastery
of the material.

Given our differences with Alan that Obama is a bit more than a starry
eyed idealist, I think this material pretty well destroys his
argument. When he takes a side in an argument he is extremely
knowledgeable about all sides besides his in great depth.

One thing for sure -- if Obama is elected President no one, but no
one will be able to lead him astray on the Constitution of the
United States.
