You aren't accurate here. Didn't he mention a sum of $600.

That was never the issue. I said that I had just received my $600
stimulus
incentive check from the US Treasury that every single taxpayer in the
United States also received or will if they haven't yet received it
(married
taxpayers filing jointly receive $1200).

I then said that I sent a substantial portion of that to Obama's
campaign.
You're the one who jumped to the conclusion that I had sent the entire
$600
to Obama, but that's not what I said.

For the record, I don't see anything unseemly for me to send a
contribution
to a candidate for public office as long as I don't exceed the limits
prescribed by the law, WHICH I DIDN'T DO.

Now, what is your problem that couldn't be solved by the simple expedient
of
you going back and seeing who said what to who? If you took the trouble
to
do that, you'd stop making a jackass of yourself by continuing to
misquote
me.

.....That's unseemly. Especially if you don't regard it as anybody
else's
business. Why make an exception for yourself? I'm making an honest
attempt to understand what he said. I don't mind being told that's not
what he meant, but if my understanding is correct, then what is the
problem of my opinion of that?

The problem is that your understanding is NOT correct. Both Rita and I
have
more than once tried to point out what was actually said and done but you
persist in misunderstanding. If you won't take the trouble to back up
and
take another look (as we've both suggested to you), you'll continue to
get
it wrong.

I'm not making an exception of myself. The actual dollar amount that I
contributed is my business and I see no reason to have to share it with
you
or anyone else other than the Internal Revenue Service if they should
ask.
I don't know who, if anyone, you sent your money to and if you chose not
to
enlighten me in that regard, I most certainly would not fault you for
that.
It's certainly your right to not share that kind of information as much
as
it's mine concerning what I do with my money.

George Z.

George, here you are splitting hairs and being hypocritical. Just how
much of a "good chunk" of $600 is inexact to you?

I'm splitting hairs? Well, if you say so, it must be true.

As for your question, I'll repeat the same answer I've already given you,
although in slightly different terms......NOYFB!
I think we're done with this stupid conversation.....I'd get more
intelligent conversation from talking with a bag of rocks than I do from
talking with you. I've had enough.

George Z.
