Everything seemingly is spinning out of control
WASHINGTON (AP) --
Is everything spinning out of control?
Midwestern levees are bursting.
And that is the fault of "republicans", or is it the fault of all previous Presdidents and previous Congresses who did not spend the money to protect this area by spending the money to establish an effective flood control sysstem?
Polar bears are adrift.
So?
Gas prices are skyrocketing.
Could one reason be that democrats are the one group that is most adamant about not drilling for oil where we know there is oil, like off our coast line and in Alaska? That democrats are the one group that is the most adamant about building more nuclear power plants (one recently has changed his mind on the issue, but that is one among many who are still against the idea). Or that they have made it almost impossible to build new refineries? Or they dream up this idea of having different mixtures of gasoline, in different locations of the country, which does not help the pricing problem? Or they "mandate" adding ethanol to our gasoline, which increased the price of fuel for out cars, it certainly did not decrease the price of fuel for our cars.
Home values are abysmal.
Whose home prices? Mine has appreciated by a ton, since we bought it.
Air fares, college tuition and health care border on unaffordable.
Which is the republicans fault? How is it the fault of republicans?
Wars without end rage in Iraq, Afghanistan and against terrorism.
And that is necesssarity bad? Besides, has Obama said he would end our involvement in Iraq or Afghanistan. No, he has not. In Iraq, he simply has another change in tactics, which may work or may not work, but he has not said that he would end our involvement in Iraq, nor has he said that success is not important, nor has he said that success is not possible. As for Afghanistan, I have not heard anything from Obama about what we should do in Afghanistan, but I am willing to bet he has not said that success is not important or that success is not possible.
