A short quiz says I am a Centrist.

Good grief, I came out as "centrist" too. I don't
think I've ever come out as "centrist" on a quiz
like this before.

Agree Government should not censor speech, press, media or
Internet.

Especially not the internet. That's the only place us "little people"
can broadcast over. Corporations do a pretty good job of censoring
the rest.

Dis Military service should be voluntary. There should be no
draft.

We need to draft everybody between 18 and 80, including crippled and
crazy. Ask them not what their country can do for them -- but what
can they do for their country. And then proceed to tell them.

Agree There should be no laws regarding sex for consenting adults.

As long as the conduct is moral and normal.

Maybe Repeal laws prohibiting adult possession and use of drugs.

I am now of the opinion that the only way to curtail drug use is to
remove the profit motive for criminals -- and politicians. For that
reason I'd like to see drugs legalized -- but drug induced behavior
punished with immediate violence. We need to hire a lot of very big
cops who enjoy slapping druggies around.

Dis There should be no National ID card.

But only because we have so many illegals. Ten years ago I would
have "agreed".

Agree End "corporate welfare." No government handouts to
business

I'd go further by eliminating all taxes on Big Business except for one
single charge --- 30% of gross sales.

Do you know anything? I ran a 28 million dollar company. All our
costs added up to about 92%.

Sounds like y'all had a lot of waste and fraud. First thing you
should do is treat executives salaries like you do dividends. They
should only be paid out of profits. Right there you'll see a great
improvement.

How to hell can you expect any company
to stay in business if they immediately send 30% of revenues to
government and lose about 20-25 cents on every dollar of revenue?

I suppose 30% may have been a little high, but we have to start
somewhere. Let's say about 15% of gross sales. Let's use Exxon
as an example. For the first quarter they had gross sales of 116
billion. They paid taxes of 9.3 billion. They claim expenses of
23 billion. Let's say we charge them 15% of sales. That would be a
total tax of 17.4 billion. They are only 8 billion short. I'm sure
that by cutting out lies, fraud and abuse in their expense column ,
they would have no trouble making up the difference. And if worse
came to worse, I'd rather see their profits be cut from 11 billion
to 3 billion than to see the Government of the USA cheated.

You remember Reagan use to always talk about three things --
(1) cutting taxes (2) cutting fraud and waste in government and (3)
getting the government off "our" backs.

We now need to look at Corporate America and begin to (1) raise taxes
on Corporations (2) cut fraud and waste in Big Business and (3) get
Corporate shills off the back of the taxpayers.

Do
you own stock in anything or are you another fucking idiot who ended
up in life sucking on Mommy's trust fund and Social Security?

You mean like Dubya and his ilk ? Don't I wish.

You keep pulling this kind of lunacy out of your ass. The only reason
I care is if we can't get some numbnuts like you to have a lucid
moment in Novermber, we are all royally fucked.

a mirror for you

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Useful_idiot You act in ways directly
harmful to your own welfare.

For the past three year I've been reading Southern history in an
effort to find out one thing. Why is it that Southerners always vote
against their best interest ? Why did we fight the Civil War ?
Why did we always support the rich ? Why -- since 1964 have we voted
consistently for the GOP ?

To me we have all been useful idiots -- and I'm trying to break the
pattern.
