I have XP (Pro) and they all work on my computers. I'm planning on
sticking with XP for a long time and see no reason to change. I would
guess most of the programs work on Vista, but not all of them. Some of
them probably don't work on Windows 98. In the case of Win 98, though,
that operating system was so prone to problems, I would recommend
avoiding loading any software on it that you don't absolutely need.

The core Windows business is slowing because consumers and businesses just
don't want to upgrade to every new version of its complex and unwieldy
operating system anymore.
