I did a little checking and I believe this is a genuine Ford ad. Some
sort of viral marketing campaign. I understand that the video was
doctored to look like the cat was headless as it slid off the roof,
but it could very well have been dead -- I don't know.

No. This was a commercial proposed to Ford by it's ad agency and
rejected by Ford. *Somehow* the clip made it to the Internet. See
