Your vote against an amendment to the immigration
Bill 1348......to make English America's official
language is astounding.
On D-Day, no less, when we honor those that
sacrificed in order to secure the bedrock, character
and principles of America , I can only surmise your
vote reflects a loyalty to illegal aliens.
The general should worry about more important things.
What general? Did I miss the promotion party?

You all might want to take a look at the language mess in Canada.
It will one day be the ruination of our country.
Canada's minority french population now run the civil service as a
result of official bilingualism.
Only the french speak two languages, out of neccessity.
English speakers have no need for french.
80% of the civil service are made up french people that speak English.
However, french are less than 20% of Canada's population.
One province, Quebec, outlawed English. Quebec even has language
police to run around and make sure no English signs are posted on
businesses, etc.
The English part of Canada. 97% of the population excluding Quebec,
now provide tax relief to Quebec in the form of equalization payments.
Canada has so far spent $722 billion on official bilingualism.
Considering it is 1/10th the size of the US in population, that is
enormous.
No one can truly calculate the cost of language issues in Canada.
Canada is more divided along language lines than ever before.
Many of us would gladly take up arms to end this mess.
