The number of Americans incarcerated is shocking.
Doesn't shock me at all. Not a bit surprised. We've developed a
society of Getters. Our literature has always lauded and deified the
person who Gets At Any Price By Any Means.
Expensiive to jail them? Worth every cent, I feel.
