Ooooh! The lefties have their panties in a bunch over those remarks.
Perhaps the democrats will, but as a populist I consider both parties
as two sides of the same coin. One clever, the other sly. While I'm
trying to ward off the one dumping on me, the other is picking my pocket.

Couldn't agree more, Glenn. I've lived under bought-off two party
politics for so many years they make me sick to the stomach.
There must be a better way for a Representative Democracy to operate.
Maybe a Constitutional Amendment should be created that would state that
at least one out of four elections MUST be given to an Independent. It
could be based on "Elimination of Discrimination Against Political
Minorities" .

end this crooked manipulation of the political system is very simple. A
simple law that states that if you can NOT vote for the candidate, you can
NOT contribute money, time or anything else to their campaign. Last time I
checked, corporations, organizations, etc., can't vote. In my later years
I've added an element to that. You have a general election once every four
years just like now. The difference is, the two year elections are simple
yes or no votes on whether the incumbant stays or goes. If he goes, in the
next two years you have a race, if he stays, you don't.
