The bitch is going to raise taxes!
But isn't that better than leaving the debt that you incurred for your
grandchildren to pay off? That's what's going to happen if she doesn't
raise taxes......either that or our government is going to default on the
loans it's made to pay for fighting the war in Iraq. IOW, either pay your
own bills or go bankrupt, in which case no one will ever lend you money
again no matter how urgent you think the need might be.
Bush has left a poison pill for whoever replaces him in the White House, and
that's in the form of the national debt. It's going to be a lose-lose
choice for whoever has to deal with it. The only good thing about the whole
sorry business is that Bush's fingerprints and his name will be all over
that pill, so he won't be able to pass the buck after he leaves office.
History will judge him very harshly on many scores, but you can be
absolutely certain that the one I'm talking about is going to be one of
them.
