The feds have a well defined methodology for calculating the SS COLA
adjustment. If you can factually demonstrate the error in their
methodology, you should do it, but I'm afraid that "feelings" don't
count.
My personal expenses have increased 5% in recent years for a constant
life style. Largest increases in medical costs, property tax and
gasoline.
