As noted, I went off the Flomax nine months or so ago,
and have no ill effects. In fact, my plumbing which had
been a bit disturbed after the operation straightened
out after I went off the Flomax. Doctors are technicians,
not gods. They don't always get things right, but due to
the danger of lawsuits they have to consider their own
self-preservation as well as the patient's benefit when
prescribing.

I'm still taking blood pressure and cholesterol medicine.
I don't have serious doubts about keeping my blood
pressure down, but the more I hear and read about
cholesterol in regard to people over 50 or 60, the
more I suspect that taking cholesterol-lowering
medication is not useful, and may even be harmful.
Medical researchers are technicians, not gods, too.
