Of course they are.....the two head knockers involved (al Maliki and Sadr) are both Shiites and poor deluded Joe thinks that they're going to set aside their 1,000 year old bitch with the Sunnis just to make the American invaders happy. Whether Joe and the dum dums he admires acknowledge it or not, we are uninvited guests in their country and they would all like to see us get the hell out and the sooner the better. Hanging around there may suit the political aims of the Oval Office but it's not going to stop the killing of the Americans we've put in the middle of their civil war.

It is hard for me to imagine how Joe can get his head into such a place. It is not that he just ignores the bad news, but he selectively edits these news items to eliminate any hint of something that might be contrary to what he believes. That goes beyond ignorance. It is partisan dishonesty. Perhaps he thinks that it is clever. Perhaps he thinks that most people will believe anything that he posts. Perhaps he aspires to emulate the Republican slime machine. Sad that he feels that he has to go to these lengths to support an ideology that is failing so disgracefully.
It is all too apparent he feels the portions of news stories he hides
are damaging to the administration. Thus that they must be excised to
make his case. Pitiful. If he did it once or twice I'd pay little
attention but it is his modus operandi.

And he refuses to explain why he does this. I'd say he is cowardly
as well because he can't stand by his actions.

Unknown gunmen have killed an aide to Shia Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani in the southern Iraqi city of Basra overnight, police say.

According the news agency Voices of Iraq (VOI), the armed attackers shot dead Moslem al-Battat, the imam and preacher of al-Orwa mosque, in the al-Farsi area of central Basra minutes after he had finished his Prayers on Saturday.
