So will the United States Congress...

The U.S. Congress will take a vacation in August and I imagine George
Bush will also. Actually, I don't know that it matters a lot since we
already have a stable government (maybe too stable). In fact, many
people prefer having our government not in session since that's the
one time that you can be sure that no laws are being passed
restricting our freedom.

I am not to thrilled about the kind of mischieg that our Congress can do, whenever they are in session. But I think about some of our major problems that we all talk about all the time, and I fail to see how they can address these problems, when they are not in session....

Our troops, however, will still be fighting for the Shiite government.
I remember that prior to the invasion the Bush administration claimed
they couldn't wait for further negotiations or the inspectors to
finish their work because of the problems with U.S. forces having to
fight in the heat. Therefore, Bush invaded in March and forced the
inspectors out and discontinued negotiations in the U.N.

How did Bush "force" them out?

Now, not only is it perfectly OK for our troops to fight in August in
120-degree temperature, but Bush thinks it's such a great idea that he
has sent even more troops to Iraq with his brilliant surge idea while
his Iraqi cronies take vacations to avoid the heat.

Is success important or not important, and why?
