That's not a very rapid rate of fire. If "several minutes" is, say, five minutes, and 100 rounds are fired, that's one round every 3 seconds. That could be a bolt-action rifle, but more realistically it was some sort of semi-automatic which obviously could fire more than one round every three seconds.

Exactly-'excuse.' there is simply no reason for anyone to own such a semi-automatic HANDGUN, which has no purpose other than TO KILL PEOPLE. Only people having a need to kill others would have need of such a weapon. In our society, that means members of the armed forces and law enforcement.

You have the right to vote, do you need an "excuse" to do so?


The right to vote has no other qualification, as does the right to bear arms. You can't just ignore the qualification because it is inconvenient to your beliefs.
