The reason we hunt is because we first farmed. By destroying the natural
predatory order, we are now overrun by some undesirable species such as
deer, rabbits, coyotes, squirrels, geese, etc. The fewer kids taught to
hunt, the worse it will get. Today the government has to hire
professional hunters, tomorrow it will likely be poison and starvation.
Of course the farmers are still at it by killing the wolves and any other
predator that competes with their production.
