No surprise here!!!! The UN has turned out to be a high priced Social
Club for most nations. It's time to stop paying the bill for a

It is supposed to be a social club. It's mission is to give a safe
forum for enemy nations to meet and talk, It has prevented countless
armed conflicts.

To meet and talk!!! Hell has anybody ever heard of "diplomatic
relations"? Pick up the phone and talk to me!!!! What a concept, now
let's all gather in a big room and cheat the world out of money with
"Oil for food" scams. It's all BS!!! How many world wars has the UN
prevented?

Many, many, many.
How many people are starving to death, being oppressed,
being anialated while all this "talk" is going on? Name me one armed
conflict that was prevented by the UN?????


Cuban Missile Crisis for one but you will never hear of most of them.

Gee I thought that was solely between the United States and the Soviet
Union....what role did the UN play?

They prevent wars by having a safe environment for nations to meet
each other face to face and iron out their differences. By the way,
most of the meetings aren't in the General Assembly.
