very spotty breaks. about 12 miles from my house, in jefferson county,
the next one to the southwest, they had an episode with 2" of rain
falling in 45 minutes. we have clay soils, so everything runs off.
flash floods are a danger in canyons. the canyon roads are posted with
warning signs, to tell one to get out of the car and climb to higher
ground if the rains start up.
no rain at my house.
there is a difference between weather and climate.
A drought must be weather. They make movies.
