Miss Coulter
seems to think that only select Americans have the right to inject
their opinions into the public discussion of political ideas.

This is your fundamental error. Her point is that these four can make
any
comments they wish and hide behind their victimhood to prevent any
blowback
their political comments may engender. And the explosion of criticism
of
her exactly proves that point.

I don't make errors, fundamental or otherwise. Just one of the, no
doubt, lengthy list of attributes that forms a yawning space between
us. And speaking of yawning, I think you missed the point that it is
Miss Coulter who thinks she is beyond reproach. If I took anything she
said as being anything more than the calculation of a shill,
enterprising provocateur, I might elaborate for you. As it is, I'll
wish you a lovely day, dear.

Unusual and stylish put down.....bravo! What a pleasant change from the
heavy handed insults so common in these parts.

Ciao, George;

I think it really is Betty Bowers. Damned if I know what she's doing in
soc.retirement, but check out her blog www.bettybowers.com.

She's fun.

Hap

Thanks for the tip. I checked her blog and you're absolutely right....she is
ever so slightly nutty and without a doubt fun. I even signed up for her
newsletter and plan to forward it to the right wing fruitcakes who mostly
populate the entire area where I live in an effort to jiggle their
collective chains and bring some humor and joy into their generally grim and
humorless lives.

I'm sure they'll hate me for it, but they already hate me so what do I have
to lose. Thanks again.

George Z

I like the "Who would Jesus torture?" T-Shirt.

I guess the word "whom" is dead and buried now.
