There are many medical services that a government agency wouldn't

Do you know of any insurance company that pays for cosmetic

No, but it seems that they could offer to cover it at 100% deductible
to allow the patient to get a lower medical bill.

I really object to hospitals charging many times more to
people who have no insurance than to people who do.

And here I thought you were for socialism. Who knew? I guess you favor
it only when the benefits put money in YOUR pocket.

It's kind of like an auto dealership - rip off those least able
to protect themselves as much as you can. If I worked
Jose[h Stalin, I'd certainly suggest that practice as a
propaganda item to show the people what a disgusting
and unfair system of government capitalism was.

Seems like you are confused and need a "who's who" lesson about which
systems do what. But wait, this is so obvious - maybe you are just
being facetious.

It would be nice for the patient to get a lower medical
bill, but what a shifty way to do it. And would the bill
really be lower? If the insurance company had no
money at stake, why would they fight to keep the bill
down? All you are to them is your money: you can drop
dead in the street otherwise for all the insurance
company cares. You as a lonely ant are not by any
means worth the effort that the whole anthill taken as
a group is worth to the insurance company.
