if you think about it from a UN perspective, both Iran and North Korea are

the ineffectiveness of the UN, it seems to me... As for what happens if
Iraq has a nuclear capability, why would countries like Saudi Arabia be
concerned about Iraq, and not concerned about an already nuclear capable
Israel?

I assume you meant Iran, not Iraq.

Sorry about that. They should not have two countries next to each other
with names that can easily be confused <g>

Let's face it, Israel's nukes are
defensive, and Israel is not going to enrage the US by nuking Saudi
Arabia. What would be Israel's motive?

I would think that depends on how serious a threat to their country, a
nuclear capable country is. I also do not think that Isreal has to respond
with nulcear power. Though frankly I do not know how they would do it, it
would seem to me that if they have guided cruise missiles like we have, they
could simply program them to hit designated targets, and no one can stop
them from doing that, even if it flies over Iraq to get to its intended
destination.

Saudi Arabia isn't worried
about Israel's nukes -- at least not significantly more worried than
we are about France's. Iran, on the other hand, is Saudi Arabia's
traditional arch enemy and regional rival -- for both religious and
geo-political reasons. Saudi Arabia has an oppressed Shiite minority
population which is a source of friction. And so forth. Saudi Arabia
is not likely to want to sit around while the power and importance of
Iran increases exponentially -- they may even want to get a head
start. They will want their own nukes. Just my opinion -- and that of
others.

That is a possibility, more likely than any fear from Israel...in my
opinion.
