And, a quote from San Francisco supervisor, Gerardo Sandoval:
"The United States should not have a military," was how he put it.
When asked by an incredulous Hannity who would then protect the
country, Sandoval responded that "the cops" and "the Coast Guard"
could do the job."

The Coast Guard is one of the five military services. Does Sandoval
suffer the same uninformed foot in mouth disease that afflicts Senator
Diane Feinstein?

It's the very same disease that inflicted the President when he (or one
of
his flacks talking for him) told us all on TV that the war with Iraq
was
going to cost us all of 1.6 or 1.7 billion dollars and that we'd be
reimbursed by the post-war sale of Iraqi oil to us.

Care to prove that he said that?

I saw it on a film clip run by either CNN or NBC. If you want to see it,
go
do your own digging....I'm not going to do it for you.

In other words, as I expected, you can't prove it.

Damn....when you translate you never seem to get anything right. I can
prove it, but I see no need to. If you want to disprove it, feel
free......in the interim, you ought to be holding fire before you find that
you've hung yourself out to dry.

.....Let me say that I don't doubt that you heard something, but I believe
you are badly
mistaken about what you heard.

I'm trying to find out what you base your opinion on, but you're strangely
reluctant to provide details.

.....Once again, I invite you to prove it.

I respectfully decline your invitation and invite you to disprove it if you
think it'd be more worth your while than I think it'd be worth mine. Feel
free.........please. If you're going to try to skewer me for what I said,
you're the one who has the obligation to show why you've done it.

If you can't prove it. please be man enough to admit that you can't do
it, and leave it at that.

I'm delighted to admit that I won't prove my words, but not that I can't. I
invite you to prove yours if you think you can and am happy to leave it at
that, disappointed that you chose to lob a few mud balls my way without
anything more than your opinion that they were warranted.
