Re: Some advice if u please

some more advice from soc.retirement archives:

My hint: Stay a "virgin" until you marry, the old "imprinting"
trick works on humans and their first sexual partner, as well as on
ducks and their "any first moving object becomes mommy".

There are many natural science basis for "conservative" human
(and duck) values.

My advice: Never refuse to listen/consider advice from anyone;
there is much to be learned from almost any source - - but,
be quite careful when it comes to FOLLOWING advice from those
sources.

And, secondarily, be your own primary advisor!

We don't see things as they are, we see things as we are.

My advice is that a person can get more advice than they can afford to
pay for.

Doubt whom you may, but NEVER doubt yourself!

Next Save, save, save, and invest wisely. You can call many of
your own shots if your back isn't against a wall.

Be careful what you wish for you just might get it!

Do not have any children unless you truly, truly want them and
believe you can love them and teach them and spend time with
them.

The grass ALWAYS looks greener.

If you marry for money you will be intimidated by the "boss';
he or she who has the gold rules!

A stitch in time save nine.

The only thing to depend on is yourself, and sometimes you
won't be able to depend on self.

Never expect anything and sometimes you will be pleasantly surprised.

and last....

W. C. Fields said, "you can never cheat an honest man".

Sure. Never squat in the woods when you're wearing spurs.
