Re: Anatomy of a Photograph ( Interesting analysis )



Kind of reminds me of the similar staging that was done by
the administration during the infamous "Mission
Accomplished" stage show. A Prez in a flight suit, landing
a jet on a carrier just off the coast (only because it was
held out of port), the sign designed, built, and hung by
advance men, not the sailors, turning the ship so the
coastline wouldn't be in the background. Gee, do you think
that staging a media event is only done by the other side?
None of the papers or TV showed the behind the scenes views
of that either.

Perhaps the paper's lawyers didn't want the right wing to go
ape if it published a sign with an obscenity on it.
