And I'll be willing to bet that you don't have a clue as to why? Assuming
that, let me give you a clue. For about the past 20 years people have been
pouring across the Mexican border into Texas. They used to ride the rails
but ever since the railroad detectives were given the power to load them up
and dump them back in Mexico, they just walk. They go in packs of 5 to 30.
When they get hungry they kill a ranchers livestock. It doesn't matter it it
is a registered prize sire worth a couple of hundred grand or an embryo
transfer host worth a half million, they kill it and eat it. And, they also
know that if they have one of their kids under 17 kill the animal, nothing
will happen to any of them. The farmers and the ranchers have gotten a
little sick of that and as the government refuses to do anything about it,
they do it themselves.

What would you do if someone broke into your house and stole your most
prized possession, the cops came, loaded up the burglar and turned him loose
a mile or two away, and that scenario kept happening about once a month to
you, and it was generally the same people? Well, that's exactly what is
going on down here.
