Okay. But what about jumping to the conclusion that he "had little
regard for the truth"? What if he had told a lie? It wouldn't justify
considering him a liar.
There is a huge difference between wondering whether another has a
regard for the truth, and imagining them a liar. Your falling so
short of common sense here leave me wondering how concerned you are
about grasping things accurately, but it doesn't leave me imagining
you a liar.
And should another tell a lie, that would make them a liar, would it not?
I am not sure that I have ever encountered a liar on SRQ, whom I could
be reasonably certain was one. So I don't really appreciate the suggestion
to the contrary.
