The dust will never clear. You imagine yourself something you are not.
Every time you are invited to demonstrate that you are what you claim to
be you cannot. This is not that suprising. It goes with the territory
of having a deeply held delusion that you are what you are not. Just as
in a dream state when one reaches an impasse one finds it necessary to change
the story line and move on, the better that one not wake, so you too change
the story line whenever you find the story line needs changing, the better
to preserve your own illusions.

However, this is not about David 'scholarliness', its about David's honesty
here in the newsgroups.

True dat

Not true; it is about FREEDOM of expression
on SRQ for the Thiering position on Christian Origins...

No, it is about the issue of whether you having said you will answer all
questions actually have the wherewithall to follow through on such a
commitment. You might be well served by coming to terms with the fact
that you are not to others what you yourself imagine yourself to be.
Others might well be served by grasping that despite all the illusions
you create which suggest that you could have a sensible adult mature
conversation with others, this is not in fact the case. All you can
ever in reality be is a broken record.

Time will tell and mileage will vary...

Time has told. You've had 10 years here, and an enormous output of energy
has gone into trying to help you. I personally doubt that any here can
help you. Those who suggest that you should at least try to help yourself,
have hearts that are in the right place, but all their words fall on deaf
ears. You like yourself as you are far to much to be likely to take any
steps which might actually improve your ability to interact with others in
a sensible educated and coherent fashion.

You are Lucy ever urging Charlie Brown that this time you will not drag the
ball to be kicked away at the last second, and every time doing just that.
Has it ever occurred to you that in that tale it is Lucy and not Charlie
Brown who has the problem.

He continues to make false claims such as "I have
zillions of face book friends", "I am a meterologist" and "I will answer all
questions".

Facebook friends - 20 (twenty) and that's enough...
Next, I am a meteorologist's meteorologist who
went to MIT and studied with Fred
Sanders (distinguished synoptic meteorologist).

I vaguely remember that you didn't complete your degree at MIT. If you did
it would be a simple matter to name the year in which you graduated, and the
degree you graduated with.

I never believed in credentials in my life; forget
about the documentation; I won't do it for you EVER.

Now that is a most convenient out would you not say. Do you not understand
that to claim to be something that requires qualifications, entitles others
to examine those qualifications. Failure to have qualifications that back
up a claim is in essence fraud.

BUT, you can ask me ANY meteorological question.

That was not the deal. You earlier said you may ask me any questions and I
will answer them.

http://quotationsbook.com/quote/44877

The third can also easily be shown to be false by citing the questions he
has failed to answer in the past.

Earth to the dunderheads - when I say I will not
teach Thiering pesher (because of the Engineer
experience); clearly, I won't answer ALL questions,
will I?

You lack credibility David. You can no more regain it by floundering around
than a fish can regain water by floundering around in the bottom of a boat.

All true. However, I hope that this current effort -- answering the 10
questions you enumerated here -- gets all the focus for now. To the
extent that other posters bite on Dave's red herrings, or raise
unrelated issues themselves, Dave gets a chance to avoid answering
your base questions.

I don't do red herrings; I play it straight in the
mode of George Fox and Margaret Fell -
a simple and uncompromising approach to
the Faith.

You live a dream where future promises can cancel out past debts. You are
like the man having been told that his account is overdrawn, asks if he might
write a cheque to solve the problem.

Right now, he is fighting the hook in a number of ways. I am trying to
keep him on topic. If you would like me to back off, let me know.

Keep on trucking, Tom.

You are the one on the hook David.

Until David can answer all nine of those questions (and I will welcome from
other posters and questions of theirs David has also failed to answer in the
past) the failure to answer questions he said he would is just further proof
David P "Carl" Christiansen is a liar and can't keep his word.

I expect you all (my southern side) to learn
some Thiering from the experience.

Did you not understand Kelly when she told you that there was no one here who
had any interest in your pet obsession. Has it ever occurred to you that
Thiering rhymes with "Red Herring".

Agreed. (Well, except that I don't think he has a middle name with the
initial "P".)

I am pulling for Dave to come through with good answers to your
questions, to your (not his) satisfaction. Whatever he may think, I do
not wish him ill; I wish him to claim his honor and honesty. With his
energy and interests, he could be a useful discussant on Usenet if he
could occasionally put aside his peccadilloes.

I was and am part-Irish; this explains a lot.

You are resorting to jibberish. Read back what you write and see if it makes
sense to you. If it does take it to a friend you trust, and see if it makes
sense to them.
