Ah so the really, really heavy debate that it is only a matter of time
before it breaks out, is not a prophecy so much as a wish.

I would have thought that 'important contacts in the Christian
evangelical world' would be considerably less inclined to give any time
or attention to anything that 'overturns Christianity', than the mixed
bunch of free-thinkers and enquirers you have responding to you in this
informal gathering.  You'd probably get more of a hearing in the Synod of
the Church of England, than in any circle of 'important contacts in the
Christian evangelical world'.

I would have thought that the views held by David/pchristainsen might
possibly be quite acceptable to Unitarian Universalist Association.
