practice (and the practices of other spiritual traditions) in order to
"defend" it. Are we talking actuals here or hypotheticals. Did C.S.Lewis
lay down his Christian practice, in not being a pacifist. There seems to
be a very big gray area here which you are painting in black and white
colours. If you want to point at christians who lay down their Christian
practice in order to defend it, would not George Bush be a better candidate
to use in your arguments.
