You are making the mistake of saying "Jesus" when you mean "Saul".
It really amounts to the same thing in Christ's opinion.
As Christ backed up his disciples and apostles, especially Paul by the
following.
Luke 10:16 "He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you
despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me."
Do you really want to say that everything Paul said or wrote is
really Jesus talking?
As Paul was specially called and ordianed by Christ to teach the Gentiles
which includes us,
what Paul wrote and has been approved of both by Christ and Almighty God.
1 Timothy 2:7 "Whereunto I [Paul] am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I
speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith
and verity.
8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without
wrath and doubting."
VERITY:
[STRONG'S :
1a) What is true in any matter under consideration
1a1) truly, in truth, according to truth
1a2) of a truth, in reality, in fact, certainly
1b) what is true in things appertaining to God and the duties of man, moral
and religious truth ]
And Jesus.....
Acts 9:15 "But the Lord said unto him, "Go thy way: for he is a chosen
vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the
children of Israel:
16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake."
17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his
hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto
thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy
sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost."
Now, Tim if you had some of the 'Holy Spirit', you too would agree with what
Paul, through the Holy Spirit wrote. You certainly would not be using false
accusations agin him.
Christ communed with Paul during his arduous journeys, thus if his opinions
and teachings regarding the position of women both in the church and the
home were against Christ and Almighty God's wishes, anything amiss, and the
Lord would have without doubt enlightened him accordingly.
For Christ was a brillant man of understanding, much more then you or I
could ever be, right Tim?
Thus you need to acquire a lot more faith, and a greater awareness of such
things, as you seem to be lacking in these essential areas.
A kind of a "Double-minded man"
A dubious 'pick & mix' faith which is virtually useless in "earnestly
contending FOR the faith" as you are 'forever' using your lawyer mind
against it.
