Indeed elephants are only mentioned once in the BoM and than in
relation with king Coreantumr (Biblical Coresh) and his 2 million
army, which seems to be the same 2 million army of the historical
Persian king Xerxes I, including elephants and camels, both types of
camels, the Bactrian camel and the dromedary.

Ether 9
[19] And they also had horses, and asses, and there were elephants and
cureloms and cumoms; all of which were useful unto man, and more
especially the elephants and cureloms and cumoms.

One could suppose that JS, in trance, mumbling in his head, with a
thick tongue, saying camels was understood as saying cumoms or
cureloms.

This mentioning of camels in the BoM in relation to Coreantumr,
Coresh,Cyrus and Xerxes, all seemingly kings of Persia, is very much
in line with real history, as at that time the Persian king Cyrus
annexed Bactria, the only place on earth where camels lived and were
domesticated. "Useful unto man" (9:19) looks a perfect translation of
" beest of burden"

(quoted from the history of camels)
A dromedary has one hump, long limbs and short hair. This animal
originally comes from the hot deserts and the steppes of Arabia.
(Today, it also lives in northern Africa.) Its short hair protects the
animal from the heat. A dromedary is about 300 cm long; its height is
about 190-230 cm; its weight is between 600 and 700 kilo.

A camel has short limbs. It used to live in Bactria, Sogdia, and the
Gobi desert only, which have a land climate. The two humps insulate
the back from heat loss during the cold Central-Asian winters. Its
long hair has the same quality. Although the camel is about as large
and heavy as the dromedary, it is stronger and can carry heavier
weights.
The domestication of the Bactrian camel can be dated to about the same
time, the first quarter of the first millennium.

Dromedaries were used for warfare in the mid-seventh century: not only
were they used to carry archers, but also to transport heavy loads.
The conquests of the Achaemenid king Cyrus the Great (559-530) would
have been impossible without logistical support of dromedaries. In c.
547, he fought against king Croesus of Lydia (in western Turkey) and
employed these animals in what was to become one of the most famous
stratagems of Antiquity: (Herodotus)
He gathered all the dromedaries from his army train, took off their
burdens and set cavalry men upon them. Having thus furnished them, he
ordered them to go in front of the rest of the army towards the
horsemen of Croesus [...]. He did this because horses are afraid of
dromedaries and can not endure to see or smell them.

There is no doubt, that Mormon book Ether is the History of the
Persian kings (blessed by God in the Bible)

The BoM is situated in the old world. So let me finish with your
remarks.

It's pretty clear that you are new to your subject, or you would know
that the Golden Plates are not available for exhibition "in the Mormon
Temple" or anywhere else.

My first letter to the BYU and Dr Sorenson was in 1984 stating that
Zarahemla was Khazaria and the Prof Anthon transcript was including
the Glacolite alphabeth.
As a lay historean I stick to historical records and shy away from
religious prophecies and visions and leave it respectfully to you to
believe, that the golden plates were taken to heaven.

If the golden plates ever have been seen by JS and his witnesses, than
they still have to exist and the cellars of the big Mormon temple is a
good guess to hide them from greedy mudeums and historeans.

That you have not heard of Joseph Smith - History also tells me that
you are basing your conclusions on less than a full set of facts. (The
passage I quoted appears in most copies of the Book of Mormon. Read the
prefatory section entitled "Testimony of the Prophet Joseph Smith.")

No I have no opinion about religious thoughts.

The thing about Joseph Smith is this: either he was a fraud, or he was
a prophet. If he was a fraud, the Book of Mormon is also a fraud, and the
events described in it did not take place ANYWHERE.

No, he said, he translated golden plates, which stories seem to have
matches in old world history on the same dates.
So even, if he copied it from Herodotus, Flavius Josephus and the
Bible, it still remain historical records.

To proof that the BoM is historical correct and happened in real, we
have the golden plates to be studied and deciphered by scholars to
know where it happened.

There are numerous books about the Book of Mormon. I personally
recommend "By the Hand of Mormon," by Terry L. Givens; "Echoes and
Evidences of the Book of Mormon," by Parry, Peterson, and Welch; and "An
Ancient American Setting for the Book of Mormon," by John Sorenson. It's
a good idea to get to know your subject before you go out on speculative
limbs about it.

To study and understand what is written in the BoM ONE SHOULD FORGET
EVERYTING WHAT EVER HAS BEEN WRITTEN BEFORE ABOUT IT BY THE CHURCH AND
WHATSOEVER SCHOLARS AND HISTOREANS ALIKE,and take the verses and the
sentences word by word on its words.

One more thing. Approximately fifteen million people have had their
lives changed by the Book of Mormon. The vast majority of them believe
what Joseph Smith says about it. Often, when you are outnumbered by a
ratio like fifteen million to one, it means you need to take another look
at your position.

There are 1000 million people who have heard about the BoM and think
that it is a fraud.

I am the only one, who knows and has proved, with historical eidence
that the BoM are historical records, like Gothic annals and Khazar
archives.
