No, honestly it didn't.

I always doubted the stories I heard about it, and you're the
first person I've ever encountered who claimed to have been through
such a thing himself. Was the same thing done in your stake for
other callings, or just for full-time missionaries?

Not being in Stake leaderships since then, I haven't been able to
observe any returning missionary's outprocessing.
