Why would you have walked out?
Because he said it, and you disagree?
Because he said it, and it is not in the manual?
Because he said it, and did not express that it was his belief/opinion?
Or course it may have been him, or the OP, that said "African Americans",
clearly it was more than just those of African descent that ended up in
America who were denied priesthood.
As to the point, again the OP may not have phrased the teachers actual words
correctly. It is scripturally correct that the seed of Cain came through the
Flood care of Ham's wife. So those of Negro descent are here because of Ham.
Now this is *not* the reason for there not receiving the priesthood. But it
is the reason for them having been born of that race. So he is correct in
part.
