I reply to Azumazi Oct 23
Yes, the source of my information regarding the successful attempts by
the Organization of Islamic Conference states to suppress references
to anti-Jewish material in the Koran in the proceedings of the United
Nations Commission on Human rights was a valuable article by David
Littman in the "Middle East Quarterly." You cannot overturn the simple
facts that I report so you divert attention by trying to smear and
impugn the source of the facts. This is a vulgar sophistry, often
practised by you: you cannot refute the message, so you attempt to
shoot the messenger or at least besmear him from head to foot.
Do you think that Islam is well served by these tactics? - rather you
confirm the impression that Muslims are not interested in reasoned
argument: argument is a fight, and one should endeavour to win (or
seem to win) by whatever means, or so Muslims seem to think. After
all, Ghazali terminated rational justification of Islam many centuries
ago - since then unreason has reigned.
Your characterization of the political motivation behind David
Littman's article is absurd. But what matters is its truth or falsity;
regarding that you have NOTHING to say.
