That is an assertion based on no evidence.

I can make all kinds of fantastic assertions on the same basis
e.g. the moon is really a spaceship from the Andromeda Galaxy.
Now you disprove this!

A close friend of mine has been to the moon and walked around on

its dusty surface. I worked for the Air Force Eastern Test Range
during this period, and feel completely confident that their trip
to the moon was valid. This group of astronaut found nothing that
would suggest that the moon is other than a body of cosmic
material, much the same as this planet we live upon.

Comment:-
You could be making up this story or your friend could be.
Or perhaps he was hallucinating or you mistook a dream for reality!

As far as I am concerned - there is the Quran and I can study and
undersand
it.
But, who compiled the Koran, and why? How can you or anyone, for

that matter, convince themselves that the Koran represents the
actual revelations to and teachings by Muhammad? His teachings
were either not documented, or were meticulously collected and
destroyed after his death. Nothing, not even his oral tradition
followers survived more than a few years beyond Muhammad's death.
And the Koran was "put together" by another body of leaders
(early caliphs) who were quite likely to have been motivated to
set up their own religion and AVOID any ties or subservience to
the Romans by and through the Roman Catholic Religious
organization.

Comment:-
You continue to make unfounded assertions.
The Prophet was reported to be in a changed state when he received
revelations.
There were many witnesses who collected these revelations both in writing
and in
memory.
These fragments were collected to make the Quran.
There were far too many witnesses and there would have been an outcry
had anything like what you say happened.

The Muslims recognised these as having something unique about them.
Those who study the Quran recognise that it refers to a reality that also
finds resonance within them at a deep level.
But this experience is not avalable to those who have a superficial
consciousness or obstructive prejudices or whose attention is distracted.

The rapid spread of Islam is itself miraculous and that depends on the
effects of the
Quran.
The teachings of the Quran fr those who study and understand make complete
sense
as they are consistent with Reality and facilitate adjustment to it..
As we define Allah as the fundamental self-existing Reality, then
the Quran can be seen as a manifestation of that Reality.
The oral tradition also still continues.

But we know that there are unbelievers - so you are one.
It makes no difference to our beliefs- they do not depend on
whether you believe or not but on whether we see the Quran as true or not.

Muslims will say anything frim opinion with absolutely no proof. For
instance, stating that the bible has been changed, even though the
dead sea scrolls have without a doubt proven that the bible has not
been changed. Anay thing they have to do to try to prove the testimony
of one man (God has told us to not receive anything unless it is
established by two or three witnesses) and even JESUS CHRIST said that
His own testimony is not valid without another) Then Mohammed even
said himself that he was demon possessed, and who even tried to commit
suicide as proof of his demented state, The other proof that Mohammed
did not receive from God is the way Mohammed said that Gabriel acted
which was not compatable to any of Gabriels actions. His mean demands
for Mohammed to read , knowing that He can't read, His squeezing the
man almost to death, and finally leaving Mohammed with the sound of a
clanging bell in his head . None of these are the characteristics of
a peaceful being.Mohammed never did hear directly from God, And it is
true that Moses said;Nu 12:6 Then He said, "Hear now My words: If
there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, make Myself known to him in
a vision; I speak to him in a dream. God Himself speaks to His Holy
Prophets So Islam has to change hundreds of testimonies and witnesses
words to support one man, who was not sane, who never fits the
requirements of A Holy Prophet, who never did a miracle, who never had
a prophesy, who killed and plundered, and broke his own law of 4
wives, using his power to justify what his lusts wanted by saying that
God allows him special concessions because of his position, which is
accusing God of being predjuiced and partial, when no one else got the
word on it but himself. So he was in the position of saying what he
wanted Allah to say for himself. No Holy Prophet ever did use his
position to get selfish gains.
