As for 19, that's a special number that nobody can deny. 1 is thenumber that's always used for identity.
Comment:-
The Quran says about this number:-
"And what will make you understand what the burning (Hell-fire) is? It
leaves naught, it spares naught. It scorches and shrivels the mortal. Over
it are nineteen. And We have not made the wardens of the fire others than
angels, and We have not made their number but as a trial for those who
disbelieve, that those who have been given the Book (scriptures) may be
certain and those who believe may increase in faith, and those who have been
given the Book and the believers may not doubt, and that those in whose
hearts is a disease and the unbelievers may say: What does Allah mean by
this parable? Thus does Allah make err whom He wills, and He guides whom He
wills, and none knows the hosts (or forces) of your Lord but He Himself; and
this is naught but a reminder to the mortals." 74:27-31
The number, therefore, has some importance.
Chapter 74 in which the number occurs is entitled the "Cloaked One". It is
addressed to the Prophet (SAW) at the beginning of his mission, but also to
other people in general. A reading of the Chapter shows that it is speaking
about the two aspects of man, the spiritual and the worldly and relates them
to the distinction between heaven and earth, and Paradise and Hell. It urges
spiritual awakening. The cloak refers to the physical body or the worldly
life or to that aspect of the psyche that is conditioned and concerns itself
with the outer world, the acquired persona or shell, in which the essence or
soul is trapped or slumbering. The explanation, therefore, must be in this
context and concerns the relationship between the Cosmos, the human soul,
and Religion and the Messengers and Scriptures through which it enters into
human life.
Affairs on earth are affected, though not wholly controlled, by the sun and
the moon in heaven. In general the sun provides the energy and the moon
provides the form. The orbits of the moon round the earth and of the earth
round the sun causes various rhythms of nature such as day and night and the
changes of the seasons and give us the measure of time. There are biological
and psychological processes corresponding to these. The number 19 refers to
the cyclic period when the alignment of the moon, earth and sun repeat
themselves. The orbit of the moon around the earth also changes cyclically
with a period of 19 years. That is, the point on the horizon where the moon
rises shifts slowly back and forth returning to the same point in 19 years.
Note also that if we add the number of days in the week to the number of
months in the year, the two ways we measure time by the moon and sun, we get
7+12=19.
