How can the concept of Jesus being both a
man... AND the Son of God not be both true? I believe that Jesus was a
great teacher..and the son of God and that he was trying to teach us that
we ALL are sons and daughters of God.
Actually if he were not the Son of God (so that he knew God's will) the
teachings would be sort of foolish. Love your enemies? Turn the other
cheek? What on earth (which is the point) would that acomplish? The
concept of grace is so difficult that (I dare say) most Christians
cannot accept it, surely you have to DO something.
He did not want us worshipping "him"
but the inner God...that we are all a part of. Jesus..to me...was simply
a highly evolved and enlightened spirit.
One that said "no man comes to the father but by me" one that said "I
am the ressurection and the life" one that said "He who believes in me
shall never die" boy! some spirit don't you think?
...showing us what is in store for
us if we live as he did...if we pattern our lives on our highest
self..which is God. Jesus was both son and father...because his microcosm
burst through his egoic self to make him realize the macrocosm...he was
the "I AM". There was no more....him and me...or they and I.....there was
only "I AM" because he ceased the see the lie of separation...the egoic
belief that one is apart from God. He was both Son and Father...as we all
are sons and daughters of the great mother/father God.
There is a difference between a begotten son and a created one. Jesus
was very aware of his egoic self and, yes made it possible for us all
to be children of God, but children by adoption.
This is my view. No one has to agree with it.
Blessings
