Yes, He is; read Isaiah 45:7 -- "I form the light, and create darkness:
I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these [things]." (KJV)
NKJV uses "calamity" instead of "evil". But that verse is abundantly
clear that God *does* cause trouble, and your statement, while
pleasantly
optimistic, is not true to the Bible.
