Dear Mike,
My understanding is that if such a thing were to happen it would be at
the end of this universal cycle, something which is not scheduled to happen for 500,000 years.
But ultimately it _will_ happen, and we _will_ regress and fall back
into
sinfulness, barbarism, etc.?! What about all this stuff about
"permanent"
peace? The "regression" interpretation would contradict such
statements.
And when did this present universal cycle begin anyway?
But until humanity accepts Baha'u'llah's healing remedy, things are going to be tough.
Is this the apocalypse
talked about in the Bible??? Has it already started???
Ah, now that *has* started. In fact it has happened again and again.
With Baha'u'llah Revelation the New Jerusalem has descended as a bride
adorned for her husband. We are beginning that Promised Age when the
lion will lay down with the lamb, when swords shall be beat into
plowshares. No doubt this age will be ushered in with birth pangs but
we should rejoice and be happy to live in this Day.
warmest, Susan
So, the "apocalypse" has already begun, then. But is there any
connection
to this and what happens at the end of a universal cycle, or is that
something
much more dire?
.
