Re: Irshad Manji - Confessions of a Muslim Dissident

But I think a really good example of someone who is "sitting on a
high horse looking down and passing judgement" would a person who said
"I believe I understand Islam perfectly"<

Hi Gilberto.

The issue that I understand perfectly about Islam is that you believe you
have the truth.

I am very sorry about the wording of my sentence, I was not clear at all. I
do not understand Islam very well at all and have said so in these pages
many times.

What I do understand is that you and Yassir believe you are right and that
you have truth. I respect that and I will not say you are wrong. I will
only tell you what I believe that is different from what you believe.

This is a false generalization. It seems to be like someone sitting on
high horse
looking down and passing judgement ,when in reality the Bahai faith
doesn't have
answers to the simplest questions that most Muslims know the answers
to.

This is interesting for I had not known this. What questions are there
that Baha'i does not have answers to? Also I do not know of any Baha'i
or any Baha'i Teachings that would justify "looking down from a high
horse" as you say.

I can't read minds so I won't guess what Yassir was thinking about.
