Re: My New Status

Oops!

I had always assumed you were a Baha'i in good standing Brendan.

Dear Larry,

Brendan thought he was. He was raised a Baha'i but his parents did not
register him as a child, nor did he declare for himself when he turned
fifteen. But he continued to attend Feast, etc. and it had always been
assumed he was a Baha'i without anyone checking on his membership
status. However, the institutions became concerned about some of
Brendan's postings but when they investigated they realized he was
never really enrolled in the first place, and therefore not a Baha'i.
When this got back to Brendan he apparently requested enrollment which
was refused because he had publicly taken issue with so many of the
Teachings.
