joyous singing of prayers in Haifa

Hello Friends,
I just thought I might share a nice experience with you. I was at a cluster meeting this weekend and a semi-retired friend of mine name Bill who has a Bahai TV station here in Samoa sold me a copy of a dvd that he was showing at the meeting. When I watched the dvd in the comfort of my living room, I was much impressed by the footage of the people from all over the world reciting the "no remover of difficuties but God" prayer at the opening of the terraces in Haifa. Each had their own unique dress and language and expressions and way of praying and it was truly beautiful. It seems that more of the women than the men decided to sing their verses and this has me trying to do the same myself. I know that the verses seem to have more impact on me when I "intone" them in a song even though I am not such a good singer. I also enjoy hearing many of the email "songs" on this list but it does not compare with the beauty of the human voice.
love to all,
john
