Suzanne, thanks for that passage. I don't know if I've read ALL the
Bahai texts around Muhammad and Islam, but I've read alot of them, and
I've read the one quoted below as well. I guess my concern would that
even though the passage is very positive, I actually don't see it as
being about Islam. It has more to do with the accomplishments of
Arab-Perso-Middle Eastern-North African civilization.

I mean it makes sense that a Bahai would emphasize that component more
so than the spiritual-religious-theological aspects of Islam. But the
latter component is the part which is more essential and central.

I don't think all Bahais feel the same way.

I think I've seen that in these forums. And as I was alluding to, the
above, strictly speaking isn't so much about the faith which Muhammad
taught, it's about the civilization which Arabs and others put
together in his wake.
