Dear friends-
I'm not sure I understand what the problem is with praying to the Manifestation, or what foot to enter the bathroom with etc.
I cannot imagine Muhammad or Baha'u'llah or God saying "You did it wrong therefore I'm not going to answer your prayer.", or "You did not enter the bathroom properly thus you will be punished."
This to me sounds like religion for children who need to learn discipline and obedience.
And I'm not putting down Islam, just how some people seem to feel it should be practiced.
peace, doug

So what's wrong praying to Baha'u'llah? He is the Supreme Manifestation of God. No man can ever understands God, what ever we unanderstand of God is from His Manifestations. Praying to Him for me, means praying to God. I know God through Baha'u'llah and I know that when I pray to Baha'u'llah, He takes my prayers to God. A Manifestation of God by Himself can accept or reject prayers. His wish is the wish of God.
It may be very similar to the concept of SHAFI in Islam, especially in Shia Islam. Many Shia Muslims pray to Imams and Prophet Muhammad too. I never saw anything wrong with that. Maybe again you're mixing up the Sunni tradition with the real and pure Islamic Teachings.
