The explanations are given in various places, but primarily in _Some
Answered Questions_. As I suggested before, IMO, He was referring to
the manner in which the lower conditions (mineral cohesion, vegetative
growth, and animal sensation) are all included in "man," a being with
an immortal soul.
The above is a theme He has also developed elsewhere (without using
"evolution" as a metaphor). I do not, however, think that He was
proposing an alternative "theory" of human biological origins.

Yes, but faith in what? One can be faithful and still be open to
scientific knowledge.
