Often you have been critical of me because I signed the card and must not
have understood the entirety of Baha'u'llahs message.

Are you suggesting that people leaving the faith after being persuaded to
sign the card are your fault? Why encourage anyone to declare, unless they
have demonstrated satisfactory knowledge in the Covenant?

It sounds to me like you'd let anyone sign a card.
