The upcoming royal wedding??

What I'd like to know is why so many people actually care about it.

I read that 2 billion people might watch it. Wedding planners are all excited because they can design gowns, table settings, etc. to match this stuff.

Now here's my oddball fantasy: as a wedding present, the Queen should abdicate, and Prince Charles should not accept the kingship. That would be exciting!
