Most posts here should be basic knowledge to any guy responsible for
a house and its electrical contents. For example, does not matter
whether you are using an appliance in 120 or 240 volt outlets. Most
electronics must work at both 120 or 240 volts. Some do so with a
simple switch change. Others do so automatically - contain a universal
power supply. The homeowner knows that appliance fuses must be 250
volt type becaue a homeowner does not want to 'burn down the
residence'. If what was posted here is too complex, that guy may need
some basic education - for human safety.
