Today marks the 97th anniversary of the sinking
of the Titanic. She slipped to the bottom of the
Atlantic Ocean at approximately 2:20 a.m. on Monday,
April 15, 1912. I find this to be an especially
appropriate time to think about and honor the memory
of the roughly 1,000 men who gallantly and bravely
went down with her in order that women and children
be saved. God bless every last man of them.

Thank you, Jill, for posting that remembrance of
the men who died in the Titanic tragedy because
they sacrificed their own lives for the sake of others.
